TAUNTON Amateur Boxing Club have looked back on a highly successful season after closing down for their summer break.

Francis Lynn and Emin Coleman have won Western Counties Championship title in their respective weight classes, and are both training in the England squad in Bristol.

Ben Stocker and Harry Ryder are training for the Western Counties squad. Lynn and Coleman have also boxed for the Western Counties twice - in Wales and in the Northern Counties event.

advertisementIn all, Taunton ABC have competed in 70 bouts all over the country with a winning majority.

The club are grateful to everyone who has sponsored them and to the Territorial Army for the use of their premises.

Taunton ABC re-opens on September 1.
